The Langham Hotel in London’s Marylebone is a rare and special place to get married, offering a number of truly outstanding and unique spaces to host celebrations. From state-of-the-art meetings rooms to the lavish Grand Ballroom with adjoining Courtyard Garden, a rare al fresco space in the heart of London, there's a venue for every type of wedding. The Langham caters for civil ceremonies, renewing of vows and same sex marriages and is committed to making every occasion as enchanting as the last.
Most impressive is the hotel’s grade II-listed Grand Ballroom, a grand and luxurious space that boasts soft creams and gold hues, high ceilings as well as many of its original classical features. There’s also the option to add bespoke decorations, from lighting to floristry, to make the room your own. Perhaps one of the best things about the ballroom is that it offers access to the stunning Courtyard Garden, allowing couples the opportunity to add an alfresco element to their wedding. The courtyard is one of the oldest private gardens in the west end and is decked out with wooden benches and tables, sparkling fairy lights, trailing foliage and pristine grey paving.
Space certainly isn’t an issue at The Langham, with the Grand Ballroom seating 220 for dinner (or 375 for a reception), and the second largest offering, The Portland Foyer, able to hold 220 guests standing. If it’s a more intimate wedding you’re after, there are a host of smaller rooms (Mayfair, Surrey, Barouche, Phaeton) that cater for under 50 people while still offering the same grand features as the rest of the hotel.
Every couple that chooses to wed at The Langham will receive a dedicated events manager to help assist with the detail. What’s more, the venue is 100% single-use plastic free and follows a food waste management programme to minimise waste and uphold its sustainability commitments.
