Found in the heart of Notting Hill - just a stone's throw from Portobello Road - is When Abby Met Claud. The perfect spot that can take you from brunch right through to dinner and late night drinks.
This Notting Hill restaurant comes complete with insta-worthy interiors and a menu to match. The restaurant was created by its namesakes - Abby and Claud - who met at boarding school and formed a strong and longlasting friendship. This basis of friendship, laughter and fun is now the ethos behind When Abby Met Claud - along with a lot of cocktails!
Open from 8am for breakfast and then brunch, diners can choose from light bites such as the fruit cup or porridge with a choice of toppings, through to brunch classics of smashed avo on toast on sourdough or eggs benedict. For the main menu diners can pick from a host of small plates to share or larger main dishes for one. To share, we like the look of the corb ribs smothered in sriracha, smoked chilli, lime and coriander and the monkfish scampi served with pea and mint puree then topped with pickled shallots.
For mains you will find a host of crowd pleasers including jerk chicken served with rice and peas, truffle mushroom linguine and no less than four variations of mac n cheese. You can also keep a look out for the restaurant’s “bottomless dinners” served with your choice of bottomless martinis or margaritas on selected nights. Various events with DJs are also hosted on many evenings.
The drinks menu comes complete with all your favourite cocktails, along with a choice of creative gin serves created in partnership with FeverTree.
