Foxhills is a bit like an adults playground; an award-winning hotel and country club, here you can relax in the spa, take a dip in one of the five pools or book a round of golf. If sport isn't your thing, check out what else is going on - there's 200 activities to be explored across this 400-acre Surrey country estate, after all. And if all this fails, there's good ol' fashioned wining and dining, with three restaurants to make sure you're never hungry - or out of choice.
This beautiful 19th-century manor house happens to have a great location, too. Just 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport, with easy accessibility to London, you can enjoy Foxhills as a member, overnight guest or pop in to try one of the award-winning restaurants.
The most popular space is the trio of Fox Dining Rooms, set across three stunning spaces which pair period features like impressive, arched ceilings with contemporary furnishings. Here, you're invited to try either the a la carte or monthly set menu which focuses on seasonal produce. To get an idea of what to expect, you might start with cured salmon and trout mosaic with matcha, sea herbs, pear and star anise purée, followed by a main like roasted lamb rump with lamb fat-cooked carrot, lovage and anchovy pesto with goats curd.
For a casual lunch with gorgeous views of the golf course, you can't go wrong with Nineteen, the all-day brasserie. This place is all about feel-good British classics so you can tuck into a full English breakfast, as well as ham, egg and chips, and an indulgent burger. But, choice really is the order of the day here, so you'll also find salads, light dishes like hummus and flat breads or Thai fishcakes and larger plates like chicken masala or roasted seabream.
On sunnier days, Flo's deli is perfect for a coffee and pastry, or a craft beer, based out on the Pavilion terrace overlooking the heated pool and walled garden. While, in the colder months the Manor Lounge has a regal fireplace and brilliant cocktail list.
