Sloane Square may well be in central London (and has all the appropriate amenities to prove it), but its adjacent neighbourhoods of Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia are often thought of as offering a slice of suburbia in the heart of the city.

The pretty houses, high-end shopping and abundant green spaces give Sloane Square a calming feel and it is easily accesible too, just a short walk from South Kensington and Victoria stations, which are serviced by the Victoria and District lines.

When it comes to Sloane Square restaurants, it is no shock that several of them court the glamorous, fine-dining crowd. This means that Sloane Square is well placed to act as the setting for a special occasion or upmarket night out, thanks to its array of glitzy restaurants which boast Instagrammable interiors and a role call of luxury ingredients. Look hard enough though and you will discover that it is not all lobster rolls and high heels here, with some restaurants near Sloane Square instead presenting rustic, casual spots to enjoy breakfast or coffee in. You can find some bargains among the crowd too, as well as a few of the UK’s most recognisable restaurant brands, who have set up shop in the area.
