Skylight Peckham follows on from the success of its sibling site in Tobacco Dock, combining high-end interiors with an all-day menu, inventive cocktails and spectacular rooftop views.
Boasting a variety of outdoor and indoor spaces, this versatile venue is geared up for any occasion, whatever the weather. The jewel in the crown has got to be its panoramic rooftop which wraps-around the central dining room. Here you can soak up London’s summer rays, whether that be enjoying a buzzy lunch during the day or making the most of the evening sunshine over drinks with friends.
The globally-inspired menu has been devised by chef Karan and features an array of sharing dishes. Highlights including smoked aubergine with spiced labneh and crispy kale chaat with chutney and yoghurt, and crab and chilli tagliatelle. Along with smaller sharing plates, there's also a weekend brunch menu with dishes such as Belgian waffles with Hennessy maple syrup and poached pear, Indian scrambled eggs on sourdough with crispy curry leaves, and burrata on toast with roasted heritage tomato with basil and mint pesto.
Drinks have been given just as much attention as the food with a whole host of signature cocktails. A Tropical Rumble combines spiced rum, mango puree, lime juice and Red Bull tropical, while another favourite is The Dame Judi with Emimente Run, Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut, lime and angostura bitters. Beers, wine and soft drinks accompany the cocktails, ensuring there’s a tipple for everyone’s tastes.
Adding to the draw, the team at Skylight Peckham put on a regular rota of entertainment to keep guests amused. Throughout the year there is an ever-changing calendar of DJs, themed brunches, live music sessions and one-off performances.
The space transforms seamlessly from day to night, from a chilled hangout during the day to a party venue come dark.
