Inspired by the two founders' shared love of both food and travelling, Scoff Troff Café is a fun, casual coffee house and eatery located in the heart of the Cornish seaside town of St Ives. Serving a constantly changing, crowd-pleasing food menu throughout the day, with dishes taking their inspiration from all over the world, the café prides itself on using local produce wherever possible. Open from breakfast all the way through to the evening, you can head down to Scoff Troff Café for a morning cuppa with friends, a light brunch, or a hearty meal with a few drinks in cool yet relaxed surroundings. Children are catered for here and furry friends of all shapes and sizes are also welcome.
There's a real quirkiness to Scoff Troff Cafe even from the outside, with its curved windows and slightly wonky logo. This continues inside the contemporary space which features flashes of colour, exposed brickwork which contrasts with the wooden floors, and industrial looking pipes on the ceiling, while pendant lights also hang from above. It's the perfect environment to get cosy and enjoy the comfort food on offer.
Scoff Troff Cafe's mammoth menu begins with various breakfast options such as eggs benedict, pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, and a full English. A few breakfast items are also available throughout the day. Lunchtime sees a range of burgers, hot dogs and wraps take centre stage including an unusual 'scampi dog' which comes served in a soft roll with lemon chilli mayonaisse. Lighter lunch items include a selection of sandwiches, salads and baguettes, as well as baked potatoes with various toppings and a soup of the day.
The café's highly regarded coffee is a heart of its drinks menu, but Scoff Troff is also licensed, meaning you can also enjoy a bottle of local beer or cider with your food.
