The central dining room is an atmospheric space with a neutral colour scheme that leans into natural materials and styling. Furnishings are kept simple with white tablecloths, while lighting is low and brimming with ambience. It's a great place to come for a catch up with friends, impress a client or enjoy a date.
Starting with drinks, you'll find a concise wine list with bottles from everywhere, from New Zealand to Italy, and a selection of classic spirits, beers and some soft drinks. When it comes to the food, you can choose between one of the taster menus, the a la carte or the lunch menu.
If opting for the eight-course signature menu, you might begin with a mixture of potato, leek, hay and chive, with bread and butter, before moving onto salmon with BBQ kolhrabi and bonito mayonnaise. We like the sound of the stuffed chicken wing with truffle, toasted furikake and brioche, as well as the lamb belly with pickled onions, onion puree and broad beans.
If you have a sweet tooth, you'll no doubt enjoy fruity desserts of rhubarb with ginger, alongside lemon with wild berries, and petit fours to end. All taster menus come with wine pairings and suggestions, to ensure that you get the most out fo your meal.
As for the a la carte, you'll find some of the same dishes with perhaps a different twist, alongside large plates like fillet steak with potato terrine, cep mushroom ketchup and Jeruselum artichoke, and BBQ cauliflower with crispy onions, a delicious vegetarian option.
