An estate of magnificence, the truly beautiful Ansty Hall has a history dating back over 600 years. The very hall that stands on the estate today can be traced back to the 17th century, and the beautiful cedar tree in the garden is 350 years old. In the middle of Warwickshire’s countryside, Ansty Hall is a historical gem that is well worth a visit. If you enjoy a traditional, British afternoon tea, Ansty Hall has something special to offer you.
Come rain or shine, you can enjoy a full afternoon tea experience at Ansty Hall, with delicious treats that are loaded onto a cake stand, and have the chance to level up your indulgence with a chilled glass of Taittinger or Ridgeview sparkling wine. The afternoon tea menu is available daily between midday and 4pm, and can be enjoyed both indoors and out in the garden.
Your tasty finger sandwiches will include Wessex country honey roasted ham, cucumber and cream cheese, traditional oak smoked salmon and cream cheese, and free range egg mayonnaise and baby watercress. Next up, of course, are the freshly baked fruit and plain scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve – no afternoon tea is complete without them.
Patisserie delights are the lemon and poppyseed cake with vanilla cream, a pistachio and milk chocolate mousse, almond eclair with caramel cremeux and raspberry and ruby chocolate bomb. Don't they sound so delicious? Each afternoon tea is served with teapots full of Twinings tea, and if you're not really in the mood for the whole shebang, you can choose to enjoy just a cream tea, without the tasty extras.
