Are you obsessed with Champagne and sparkling wine? The Searcys Bubbly Show is back for a second year, with talks and events galore, as well as lots of bubbly to sample.
Searcys Bubbly Show 2024 takes place over two days, from Friday 26 April to Saturday 27 April, and Searcys will once again be popping the corks on a huge range of bubbly, from top Champagnes to established and emerging English Sparkling Wines.
Where is Searcys Bubbly Show 2024 taking place?
This year’s event takes place at {10-11} Carlton House Terrace - the spectacular Grade I-listed Georgian Townhouse in St James’s that is also home to the British Academy, and was once the residence of former Prime Minister William Gladstone. Where better to explore with a glass of something bubbly?
What can you expect at Searcys Bubbly Show 2024?
Searcys is well-known as the UK’s oldest British caterer and restaurateur, but it also has a considerable reputation in sparkling wine too. The Bubbly Show is fast becoming one of Searcys signature events, and guests have the opportunity to sample glasses of sparkling wine from a huge range of growers and producers. 16 Champagne houses are in attendance this year, including the likes of Laurent-Perrier, Gosset, Perrier-Jouet, Drappier, Palmer, Taittinger, and Pommery, and there are plenty of English Sparkling Wine producers in attendance too - Chapel Down, Silver Hand, Gusbourne, Greyfriars, and High Weald, to name but a few.
Tickets start from £60 per person, and include a selection of light bites as well as ten taster glasses of Champagne and sparkling wine. Guests also have the option to upgrade if they choose, with afternoon tea, lunch and dinner all on offer, as well as access to additional food and drink in the John Searcy VIP lounge.
Searcys Bubbly Show isn’t just about the beverages. Searcys has a bevy of industry experts and ambassadors lined up to host talks and tastings across the two days. Topics include: ‘Battle of the Bubbles. Compare and contrast the bubbles either side of the Channel’, and ‘The Ladies of Champagne’, which charts the course of influential women, from Madame Clicquot to Alexandra De Nonancourt and Charliene Drappier - all perfect fodder for sparkling connoisseurs.
