We’ve all been there – you open a new bottle of wine, have a glass and then forget that it will only last for a few days before losing colour, flavour and aroma. Luckily for you, Coravin has a new invention that allows screw-cap wine to last for months on end, meaning more wine for your money.
The new accessory allows wine lovers to enjoy their screw cap wine for up to three months from the first taste using existing Coravin Systems. All you have to do is quickly unscrew the bottle’s cap and replace it with a Coravin Screw Cap. Once screwed in place, access and pour as you normally would with a Coravin System.
Coravin Screw Caps are available in two sizes (Standard and Large) to ensure compatibility with all bottle sizes, combining self-sealing silicone with the same premium cap liner, to create a tight seal that protects wine for up to three months. The caps can withstand up to 50 punctures making them reusable for around 10 bottles of wine.
Almost 90% of wines from Australia and New Zealand are sealed by screw cap, so you’re sure to welcome the new accessory if you enjoy wines such as Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc or Australian Shiraz. The new product comes in a pack of six (four Standard and two Large) for £29.95 and retail stockists include Harrods, Selfridges, Hedonism Wines and Majestic Wines. Alternatively, if you’re a restaurant or bar looking to purchase Coravin’s latest accessory, you’ll find them at Birchgrove Products Ltd (contact number: 01483 533400).
The products are also present across many of London’s top restaurants and bars. To see it in action and try wines by-the-glass, visit any one of the following:
