Popadoms Indian Restaurant and Takeaway is a family run business, having been based in Newport city centre for over 15 years, with our head chef having over 20 years experience in the Indian food industry. Our modern contemporary restaurant located on High Street in Newport has a great atmosphere and is perfect for all occasions: birthdays, anniversaries , religious occasions.
Our vast range of Indian food has something for every taste, whether it’s our personal favourites, such as the lamb hari hari or the maharaja balti, unique dishes like the wigwam woo or for the more extreme eater there is the chilli haha challenge. There’s also our unique special popadom chutney, which you won’t find anywhere else in South Wales. To give our customers the true Indian experience we use special spices imported from India and Pakistan, as well as making sure all staff are well trained in the best food products to use and what ingredients go in our dishes.
