Having been open since 1984, Peppers is one of St Ives' longest running Italian restaurants. Situated just moments from the town's beautiful harbourside, it's conveniently located for anyone looking for a hearty meal after a day spent exploring the town. Peppers is open for dinner every night of the week and serves a crowd-pleasing menu of classic Italian dishes such as pizza, pasta, steaks and more. Welcoming customers of all ages, its cosy yet relaxed atmosphere makes it a brilliant spot both for family meals out and romantic dinners for two. Peppers' popularity among locals and tourists alike means it's well worth booking a table in advance to avoid missing out.
Tucked away at the bottom of the hill on Fore Street, Peppers is hard to miss thanks to its bright red sign. Its colourful look continues inside with walls painted in yellows and greens and the tables covered with bright table cloths. A well-stocked bar sits on the far side of the restaurant and there are bits of greenery dotted about, giving the space a homely touch.
The extensive food menu is available for both eat-in and takeaway and covers plenty of ground. Starters on offer include beetroot and feta arancini with horseradish creme fraiche, fresh mussels steamed in white wine, garlic and cream, and shredded chicken breast in a chilli peanut sauce. For main course, you can opt for one of Peppers' sourdough stone-baked pizzas with the option to build your own, or choose a pasta dish as chilli Cornish crab linguini. If you don't feel like pasta or pizza, there are daily seafood specials which are written up on a board, as well as meat and poultry options too.
Peppers' drinks menu is centered around its Italian-led wine list, but there are also cocktails such as Aperol spritz available as well as beers and soft drinks.
