At Masalchi you'll find a contemporary take on the diversity of India's cuisine, offering a pan-Indian menu inspired by back-street spice shops and food markets experienced by head chef and founder Atul Kochhar.
Nestled in the heart of buzzing Wembley Park, London, Masalchi gives you the chance to glimpse into another world. From fragrant curries and juicy grills to half plates and sharing dishes, Kochhar brings his favourite recipes collected while travelling through the provincial markets and authentic restaurants of his homeland.
There is a range of menus to choose from. The street food menu has a mix of different dish styles, starting with half plates such as crispy chicken tossed with curry leaves and chilli, grills like lamb chop inspired by the street markets of Lahore, and traditional currys such as Jhinga Tawa Masala with prawns cooked with peppers, onions and tomatoes.
There are several set menus available which are perfect for embracing the cuisine and letting Kochhar lead the way. The all day set menu runs during the mid-week and offers four dishes per person, with options such as paneer tikka salad to start and Delhi butter chicken for mains.
The Lal Miri and Kali Miri set menu, by contrast, leads the diner with a choice of either seven or nine dishes, taking you on a culinary journey. Expect delights such as Malvani spiced grilled prawns, Tandoori lamb sheekh kebab and classic butter chicken with dried fenugreek leaves, finished with cheese dumplings in rose syrup.
