The Little Monkey Kitchen is Thai food at its best. With food playing such a big role in Thai culture, and considered a special occasion even in itself, The Little Monkey Kitchen is committed to ensuring guests have a dining experience that allows them to enjoy the different flavours of spicy, sweet, sour and salty with the people they love. The chefs at The Little Monkey are exceptionally creative, and make beautiful designs out of fruit and vegetables.
When it comes to ingredients, The Little Monkey Kitchen team is committed to using quality ingredients and authentic Thai flavours that are not always found in this country. The team purchase their vegetables from the nearby farmer markets, along with the fresh seafood, meats and produce that they acquire on a daily basis.
Thai favourite street food begins with the pad Thai – a rice noodle dish that is famous all over the world. Pad Thai is blended with a tamarind sauce and your choice of meat or vegetables with egg, shallots, beansprouts, chives and crushed peanuts. The pineapple fried rice is stirred with prawns, chicken, egg and pineapple, along with spring onion, turmeric curry powder and cashew nuts.
Then the menu moves onto The Little Monkey specials, but be quick, because there are a limited number available each day! The spectacular lamb shank is super tender, being served after three hours of cooking in a creamy panang curry sauce with lime leaves. Another special is the Thai-tas-tic bonfire, a dish of crispy chicken in light batter that is cooked with garlic, fresh chilli, basil, and topped with a fried egg, served with jasmine rice. We simply can’t choose.
