When it comes to Korean food in London, New Malden in the south west is the place to go (it's even known as Korean Town). And of the restaurants there, few are more well-known than K-Town. The reason for this is that K-Town is one of London's only (if not the only) all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurants. The restaurant is run by a family and has been open for over 20 years. Their goal was to create an affordable all you can eat Korean BBQ experience, and it's safe to say they've done so. The only catch is that you can't reserve a table, and the queues are often as much as an hour, or more.
The pricing is pretty simple, as everyone gets one and a half hours to eat. It's up to you if you spend that time eating as much as you can or not. Anyone under 16 years old is charged proportionally based on their age, while adults have to pay around £30. Once you're in, there are over 40 different dishes to try. These include classics like bulgogi and galbi, which regular visitors to Korean BBQ restaurants will know and love, alongside more unusual options.
Aside from the meat, there are seafood options like prawns and octopus and other dishes like kimchi pancakes, noodles, dumplings, tempura, sushi and more. There is ice cream and fruit for after the meal, a favourite among kids who visit.
If you want an all you can eat Korean BBQ experience in London, this might be the only place to find it. People travel from all over the capital for a table at K-Town, and many are happy to wait over an hour to get one. While the wait might not be for everyone, it's safe to say this is a pretty unique restaurant.
