Pop Playrooms is a destination gaming venue, located in The Rotunda building in Kingston. The ideal place for large group, it caters to birthday parties, hen and stag dos, corporate events and even wedding receptions. Inside, you'll find a mix of interactive stations with dynamic, digitally-focused games such as pop golf and smart darts - alongside classic, American pool. While pop golf offers a nine hole golf course with immersive music videos from iconic pop stars, smart darts digitally records your scores and allows you to play a virtual version of the game.
Of course, all of that gaming is bound to work up an appetite and luckily for you, there's in-house catering thanks to Wing Wing, a Korean street food-inspired restaurant which has a pop-up here. The food menu is all about tasty, fast food-esque dishes that your whole group will love, with dishes like the signature crispy chicken drumsticks, and chicken and cheese burger, brushed with soy-garlic sauce, topped with Dijon mayo siracha sauce, and served on crunchy lettuce.
If wings are your thing, don't worry, there's plenty where that came from and you have to try the 'whizzards' too, which are strips of juicy, boneless chicken. If you're vegetarian, no bother, you can get stuck into the tofu skewers which are smothered in the signature house glaze. And, for sides, there's fries or battered greens, which are brush with soy garlic and finished with sesame seeds. Those with a soft tooth will appreciate the Little Moon Mochi desserts which comes in hazelnut chocolate, coconut or passion mango.
As for drinks, the in-house team of mixologists have had so much fun coming up with a pop-inspired menu. Think the 'Bad Bunny' with Malibu Passionfruit Rum Liqueur, Disaronno and orange, or the 'Murder on the Dancefloor' with Red Stag Bourbon, Disaronno and freshly squeezed lemon, served over crushed ice with a candied orange twist and cherry.
