Tucked away on the outskirts of Surbiton, Tamarinn 360 is an authentic Indian restaurant led by internationally recognised chefs that specialise in South and North Indian cuisine. The restaurant's concept is based on the circle as a universal symbol of earth, wholeness and unity. You'll spot the circular motifs throughout the restaurant, with an oval shaped bar and seating areas.
Whilst the menu is limited, the dishes that are offered prioritise quality and rich flavour, above the need to provide endless options. Starters include popular choices like crispy onion bhajis, chilli garlic paneer with a spicy sauce and tawa fish fry with fresh masala. Vegetable based mains include the vegetable moilee with a light coconut milk sauce, creamy black lentils and kidney beans in a buttery tomato gravy and kadai bhindi with spiced okra. Non-veg based dishes include the Delhi butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and lamb biryani. Curd rice, the aloo paratha and malabar parotta are just a few of the beautiful dishes and breads which can be enjoyed on the side. If you love dosas, try the indulgent cheese option with plenty of creamy cheeses and herbs.
Something a bit unusual that you don't usually find on an Indian menu is the addition of pizzas. Some with classic toppings and others with flavour fusion, the pizzas range from the staple margarita to a chicken tikka pizza with spicy chicken tikka, veggies and cheese. Last but not least its dessert, with the gulab jamun soft milk dumplings soaked in sweet syrup, malai kulfi creamy frozen dessert flavoured with cardamom and saffron and rice pudding slowly cooked with milk, sugar and cardamom.
Whilst you're here, you can also enjoy something off the long drinks list, including popular cocktails of Espresso Martinis, Pimms and Pina Coladas. For those looking for alternate options, you'll find an array of wines, spirits and beers - with something for every taste.
