The history of Hibou Blanc
We have taken up residency in grade II listed Sunlight Chambers which was built on the corner of the Bigg Market and High Bridge street in 1902 for the Lever Brothers, soap manufacturers, by nationally renowned architects W.S.Owen. Named after their most famous product Sunlight soap this quirky building is curiously colored and has a remarkable mosaic freeze that depicts work and honest toil. Thankfully inside is every bit as beautiful as outside we have been able to incorporate many of the Sunlight Chambers existing features into the Hibou Blanc design to create a wonderful location that oozes old school style and glamour. Welcome to the world of the White Owl.
