Franco Manca is located in Broadgate circle, at the heart of the cool neighbourhood, well-situated for city financiers to Shoreditch hipsters, there is plenty of space for anyone. The restaurant is just across from mainline and underground links from Liverpool Street station, and isn’t far from Finsbury Avenue Square. The area is truly buzzing with life, jam-packed with some of the best food and drink spots the city has to offer.
The outside is sleek and stylish, fitting in with the modern vibe of the area. But the interior is rustic and charming; it’s spacious but still maintains the intimate feel of a pizzeria. You’ll notice the large pizza ovens immediately, which are heated up to 500 degrees to cook the pizzas perfectly for 40 seconds a pop. There are several wooden peels proudly hanging on the walls and the shelves are lined with imported wines and olive oils. The pizza station is where all the action is at, with master pizzaiolos working diligently to produce the beautiful sourdough-based delights.
The service is warm and accommodating, with flexitarian-friendly menus to suit everyone’s preferences and tastes. There are vegetarian, vegan, halal, and even gluten-free options so no one is left out. The specials board features great meat and delicious vegetable options, plus extra toppings are available to order. Kids don’t get the short straw either, with picirillo menus that offer smaller versions of the adult pizzas, so they can enjoy the great flavours without compromises. The facilities are fully disabled accessible too.
Outside seating is available for you to soak up the vibrant energy of Broadgate in a charming area, surrounded by greenery. You can also make bookings for larger parties of six or more, while regular seating is first come, first served so you don’t have to worry about planning ahead.
