Located approximately 14 miles south of central London, and in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell, Epsom is a town steeped in history and renowned worldwide for what it offers. Notably, it gained global recognition as the birthplace of Epsom Salts, a discovery that has been used around the world. However, Epsom's fame extends beyond therapeutic salts, as it proudly hosts one of the world's oldest and most prestigious horse races, the Epsom Derby, adding a touch of glamour along with its historical significance. The town's association with this renowned event has etched its name in the hall of fame when it comes to sporting history. During the Georgian era, Epsom evolved into a spa town and a sought after leisure destination. Plenty of the Georgian charm is still present today.
