Within the Hyatt Regency London Stratford hotel in east London you'll find Elondi, an all-day dining brasserie with British and European influences. This is a great place for either a quick bite or a long, indulgent dinner, with a mix of menus and a selection of special events, too.
Inside, the decor is sleek and sophisticated. Richly-coloured booths offer a sumptuous place to sit, while outside the large terrace is a favourite place of locals and out-of-towners alike to enjoy a cocktail in summer.
As for the menu, the first thing you should know is that the team has gone to every length to ensure there is an ample selection of dishes for all, offering gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian and vegan options. If you do have any allergies, be sure to chat them through with your server and they'll be sure to help you make the right selection for you.
The main menu spans starters such as crab tart with a petit garden salad, alongside courgette with mint and goats cheese. Mains look like king prawn and cod pie, as well as 28-day dry aged t-bone steak and fish and chips with mushy peas.
Fancy a side with that? No bother, the team can whip up anything from celeriac chips and roasted baby carrots with feta and honey, to blistered green beans with chilli and garlic. And, when it comes to desserts, we think you'll like the sound of orange scented rice pudding with pineapple compote, as well as lemon posset with vanilla sable.
As mentioned, cocktails are a great treat to indulge in at Elondi Restaurant and the drinks menu boasts both signature concoctions as well as classics. We think the mango margarita sounds rather delicious, with Jose Cuervo Silver, agave syrup, mango purée and lime juice.
