Found in Stratford’s popular Westfield shopping centre, this outpost of the Big Easy restaurant group is a huge space, spreading itself across two floors and a large alfresco terrace.
The restaurant also houses a nine meter long bar which is stocked with over 500 different kinds of bourbons, Tequilas and whiskeys, as well as a dedicated rum bar on the first floor. As with the other Big Easy locations, the menu here is all about barbecue classics and fresh lobsters, with seafood dishes to choose from including steamed lobster served with garlic butter, a shrimp and lobster roll or the signature lobster mac ‘n’ cheese.
There is plenty of choice for meat lovers too, with meats here cooked over wood for between 16-18 hours. Classic dishes to try include the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, or the winning combination of surf ‘n’ turf. Those on the hunt for a bargain can visit on a weekday lunchtime and take advantage of the ‘hit and run’ deal which features the likes of a pulled pork sandwich, served with coleslaw and chips as well as a soft drink for only £10.
On the weekends, you can head here for Big Easy’s popular bottomless brunch, where guests can enjoy free-flowing Prosecco, Big Easy Brew, frozen Mojitos or wine alongside barbecue dishes. The drinks list isn’t just limited to brunch though, as Big Easy’s bar serves up cool sips all week long - try the likes of alcoholic slushies (flavours include Frozen Pornstars and Piña Coladas) or stay away from the booze and instead indulge with the likes of a mega Oreo milkshake.
Another thing that makes Big Easy Stratford Westfield stand out from the crowd is that the restaurant provides live entertainment every night, at no extra cost to diners. Expect a stream of live bands to take to the stage throughout the week.
