Carbon Kopi is an independent coffee shop in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham specialising in single origin coffee, artisan cakes and pastries and genuinely friendly service. You can find it on the corner of Hazlebury Road and Wandsworth Bridge Road, just a few minutes' walk from Eel Brook Common in Fulham, serving killer coffee and an all-day menu of light bites every day of the week.
Minimalist interiors create a calming aesthetic thanks to pale wooden furniture and flooring and black, ergonomic seating. While large glass windows overlooking the street ensure the space is flooded with plenty of natural daylight. In the summer, it also offers outdoor seating at the front of the shop to allow customers to soak up the buzz of the local neighbourhood.
All its coffee is sourced from single origin beans and roasted by Plot, a roasting plant based in Woolwich in south London. While a rotating guest roster spot from some of the UK and Europe’s finest micro roasteries ensures there’s always something new to try. It also uses unhomogenised milk from The Estate Dairy in Somerset, as well as alternative mylks from Wild Oats and Revel Kitchen.
Coffee isn’t the only part of the equation. Carbon Kopi offers a range of fine teas from Nuditea alongside its coffee beans, as well as a selection of freshly-baked artisan pastries and cakes. If you’re in the area for lunch, then don’t miss its homemade sourdough toasties, which have quickly become a hit with locals.
The name Carbon Kopi is a homage to the team’s commitment to consistency and quality, and ensuring every cup is a carbon copy of those values. This Fulham location is the second from the brand, following its original location over in Baron’s Court just behind Charing Cross Hospital.
