Mucci's is based in the heart of Chelsea, on the famous King's Road. Here, you can expect to find modern Italian food that is designed to share. The menu is designed as such, with each dish prepared to enjoy amongst friends, being able to mix and match with the rest of the table. You can be sure that your dishes will be served to you fresh, so that you will enjoy your food at its very best. You'll find that the pizzas are light and crispy, reflecting the classic styles of both Rome and Naples, and the pasta is prepared with fresh sauces, ensuring you get a true taste of Italy.
Why not order from the cicchetti menu, where you can enjoy Maldon rock oysters, burrata from Andria and zucchini fritti. Other dishes on the menu include beef tartare with herb emulsion, baby mushroom, celeriac and puffed quinoa, arancini bolognese served with black truffle mayo, and Atlantic tuna tartare with avocado cream and lime. Then it's onto the pastas, which sound utterly divine. There's risotto mushroom with parmesan, and a selection of oyster, king, shiitake, shimeji and chestnut mushrooms. The trombette Norma with aubergine and ricotta and paccheri with Tuscan sausages particularly stand out.
There are plenty of other main dish options, from fish favourites of sea bream with puttanesca sauce and tuna steak seared rare, to beef cheek braised in Barolo sauce and lamb lollipops with roasted cherry tomatoes. The pizza choices are up there with the best, from parma ham Maletti DOP with rucola and shaved parmesan, to the bresaola topped with taggiasca olives and Angus bresaola beef from Valtellina.
