C&R Restaurant, not to be confused with the more laid-back Soho version (C&R Cafe Restaurant), is definitely more of a dinner spot, and a good one at that, situated in the fairly culinarily sparse Westbourne Grove. Not one of London's cheapest Malaysian spots, but their dishes make up for it, and they even offer a good selection of halal options, so there's something for everyone. A succulent Prawn satay is a great choice of starter and makes a nice change from the usual dry chicken skewers that get dumped on your table when you fancy a peanut sauce. In fact C&R Restaurant have a great selection of fresh seafood, and their sea bass comes highly recommended. For something a little wetter, they also serve up a delicious Santan (coconut milk) Soup, as well as all the usual Malaysian favourites.
