Brinkley’s Wines is a bar, restaurant and shop in Fulham, West London. The interior features a dining area surrounded by wine bottles, while the highlight of the exterior is a large heated outdoor terrace that’s perfect for warmer and colder months alike. It is one of four locations in the Brinkley’s group, the others are also throughout south west and west London.
The menu is varied and will suit most tastes. Starters include chicken and vegetable gyozas with a black vinegar, crispy sesame calamari and tuna tartare. Jamon de Iberico de bellota with tomato salsa and garlic bread is the sharing starter.
For mains, you can choose from the likes of blackened chicken breast with a creamed ‘ndjua sauce, spicy Thai green curry with chicken, prawns or vegetables and a grilled sesame tuna steak. There’s also a 28 day aged Highland fillet steak, served with chips, rocket and bearnaise sauce. Two burgers (beef or lamb) round out the main course options.
To finish, there’s a hot chocolate fondant, sticky toffee pudding and a selection of ice cream. Those after something less sweet can opt for the cheese board. This features Oxford blue, Driftwood goats, Waterloo and taleggio.
Brinkley’s also offers a set menu. Three courses are £39 and two are £34. Crispy peking duck parcels and veal milanese feature for starters and mains respectively.
Food can be accompanied by a selection of over 500 wines from the on-site shop. These start at £25 a bottle.
