Featuring gigantic antique chandeliers, grand pillars and luxurious seating, you won’t feel like you are eating in a chain restaurant at this Bill's but instead a fancy brasserie with a beautiful interior and a reasonable price tag. Great food and this architecturally stunning building make for the ideal place to go with family, friends or dates alike.
Founder of the restaurant Bill Collison said ‘dinner is my favourite time of day’, and we have to agree with him. However, with its all-day menu, you can enjoy Bill’s at whatever time of day you fancy. On the dinner menu, you’ll find British classics mixed with exciting fusion dishes, as well as healthy alternatives for those who don’t feel like indulging. Go for the traditional English pan-fried chicken with wild mushrooms or its fish pie with prawns, cod, salmon and chive mash. Why not push the boat out a little and try the mojo-marinated chicken skewers with wild rice and tzatziki?
Each night of the week the restaurant also offers one dinner special, so get there early to try it, because once it’s gone, it’s gone (until the next week anyway). Wednesday serves up pan-fried salmon with broccoli, herb rosti and tomato mayo. On Saturday you’ll find the slow-cooked lamb shank with truffled mash, king oyster mushrooms and a red wine sauce. We’ll let you discover the rest for yourself.
Enjoy one of its classic cocktails to accompany your meal. The hedgerow fizz with elderflower cordial and prosecco is great for a sparkly treat, while the bramble mojito with blackberry puree is a tasty spin on the classic drink. It also has a number of gin and tonics to choose from as well as an extensive wine list. Are you teetotal? The mocktail menu and ice teas will have you sorted in no time.
