The dark polished wood & oriental sculptures give an authentic feel to this long-standing Kingston Thai restaurant, where friendly staff & far-from-greedy prices help to encourage a regular clientele. The menu is reasonably wide in scope & includes most of the usual Thai repertoire. Start with chicken wrapped in pandanus leaves, or steamed prawn crab & pork dumplings, & then move on to familiar soups, green papaya salad or an array of stir-fries & curries. Those wanting to deviate slightly from the norm can have their curiosity quenched with the likes of hot & sour duck salad or beef marinated in Thai whiskey. The wine list is well annotated & not too expensive, but all the same it plays second fiddle to Singha beer.
