Bath's rich heritage sees more than a million tourists flock to the city every year. It reflects two significant periods of history – Roman and Georgian - and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 because of its unrivalled legacy. For many, a visit wouldn’t be complete without paying a visit to its iconic Roman Baths, which were built around 60 AD by taking advantage of the area's natural hot springs.
