Trullo opened its doors back in 2010, and has been widely regarded as one of London’s best Italian restaurants ever since, serving a seasonally-focused Italian menu.
The restaurant itself is spread over two floors, with upstairs and downstairs dining rooms. The downstairs room is available for private hire, with space for up to 34 guests for a seated lunch. The Trullo team is flexible and the space can be set up to host anything from intimate wedding lunches to birthday meals or private parties. It also makes a smart, sophisticated space for corporate occasions and client entertaining, with reputably excellent food to match. Note that Trullo’s private dining area is only currently available during lunchtime services - Trullo does not host private evening events.
Everything at Trullo is made fresh in house, from fresh pasta made daily to fish and meat cooked over charcoal. The menu combines the best of British produce with Italian sensibilities - on the menu at the time of writing you’ll find Cornish monkfish and Black Hampshire pork chops, for example. Whilst groups of 11-15 can order direct from the a la carte menu, large private dining groups have a choice to make between two three-course set menus at two different price points (£45 and £60 at the time of writing). These menus include a selection of antipasti, followed by dishes such as Cornish hake with borlotti beans and salsa verde, and caramel panna cotta or tiramisu.
Trullo’s wine list changes regularly, and includes a host of outstanding wines from all over Italy. There’s also some room for choice bottles of Champagne and some dry English sparkling wines too.
