The Kings Arms in Egham is the quintessentially British pub that sits just a short drive from Windsor. It’s full of character and charm, with its old style features of exposed brick walls and dark woods, as well as the more contemporary feel that can be found throughout the range of rooms within the pub.
If you’re looking for a more intimate space to celebrate and dine with friends, many of the spaces can be booked for private dining, and come in a variety of sizes.
The courtroom is the most intimate of them all, with a large banquet style table, perfect for celebrating with your nearest and dearest, with space for up to 12 people.
The Angevin Quarter offers a slightly larger area, for up to 18 people, and comes with the added benefit of a TV, meaning it’s a great option when you’re looking to catch up with friends whilst watching your favourite sports.
If you simply have too many friends to whittle down, or you’ve got a big celebration that calls for a larger affair, then you can also choose between the old house brasserie room, which is at the heart of the pub and has the capacity for 60 people, or the menagerie which can have up to 75 people seated. The latter boasts lots of natural light and is a wonderfully airy space that’s both cosy in the winter, and perfect for the summer with its retractable roof.
To eat you can expect all of the classic pub favourites such as fish and chips, pies and roasts on a Sunday, as well as a selection of other meals that change with the seasons, such as risottos, soups and salads.
To drink, there are plenty of beers by the bottle and on draught, as well as cocktails and wines from around the world - expect the likes of French reds, Italian whites and English fizz.
