The magnificent Sea Containers building on the South Bank of the Thames is one of London's most recognisable landmarks - 14 storeys of nautical charm, maritime-themed hotel rooms, office spaces, versatile events spaces and more. Among the many feathers in its cap, Sea Containers also boasts a number of private dining rooms for large and small parties, many of which come with fabulous views across the Thames, and to famous London landmarks beyond.
Leading the way is the private dining room within the Sea Containers Restaurant, a purpose-built dining room for up to 22 guests. Boasting its own south facing terrace, bespoke gold dining tables and Tom Dixon-designed leather chairs, dining here really is the lap of luxury.
There are a handful of studio spaces, numbered from one to four, which are also available as private dining rooms. These are more versatile - each can fit between 40-48 seated guests in a banquet set up, but they can also be joined together to make a larger space. Combine all four and you have a customised space for 176 people, complete with a suite of AV equipment and a projector set up.
Last but certainly not least, big groups can look at an exclusive hire of the 12th Knot Restaurant - Sea Containers rooftop restaurant gem with capacity for up to 300 guests. The 12th Knot is available on half day or full day exclusive hire, and offers a huge range of catering options, including set menus for breakfast, working lunches, canapes, buffets, bowl food and more.
Get in touch with the Sea Containers events team to organise your private dining event, and you'll find the catering team on hand to help tailor menus and spaces to suit the occasion.
