Pied a Terre is London’s longest standing independent Michelin starred restaurant, having opened back in 1991, and it shows in the quality and style of the site’s cuisine. The multi-floored venue boasts a chic and demure exterior but inside, stylish simplicity meets thoughtful lavishness, that makes it the ideal space for a private dinner. Headed up by both owner David Moore and executive head chef Phil Kearsey, Pied a Terre is an institution that remains classic but innovative, its ten-course vegan feast just one example of how it isn’t afraid to move with the times.
Pied a Terre offers a wide range of private dining spaces, all of which come with a butler style service and can accommodate a wide ranging number of guests. A sultry ground floor front room and a first floor kitchen table can each accommodate up to eight guests while a second floor private dining room can accommodate between four and 16. Each space has its own discreetly chic style. The kitchen table feels fresh and relaxed and extremely personal, as though you have imagined the most perfect kitchen and somehow convinced people to serve you immaculate food. The second floor dining room is opulent and regal, perfect for a memorable evening.
Pied a Terre’s tasting menus, which can range from as few as four courses to as many as 10, are available in each space as is their list of 800 wines. If you’re looking for somewhere to host a private dinner or to simply enjoy a private dining experience with good food, there are few better options than Pied a Terre.
Phil Kearsey brings incredible depth to his dishes of British cuisine, each made using the chef’s classical French technique. Dishes here also boast hyper seasonal ingredients, embodying the chef’s ethos that nothing will ever compromise on quality. Vegetarian, pescatarian and plant-based tasting menus are also available, with the option to add a wine, cocktail or alcohol-free cocktail flight to perfectly pair with the menus.
