With a host of restaurants all around the world, Roka is one of the most respected and reliable names in private dining, offering chic, modern private dining rooms and a lauded menu of accessible Japanese dishes.
Roka Charlotte Street was the group’s first ever London site, and it remains one of the most popular for private dining, boasting a sleek, modern private dining room that is perfect for private celebrations as well as corporate dinners and business lunches.
The private dining room is ideally set up for a big banquet, with a single long dining table that runs the length of the room. Whilst private dining rooms can often be a little stuffy and windowless, Roka Charlotte Street is bathed in natural light, thanks to a glass wall that runs along the outside of the room.
The Roka menu is a huge part of the attraction too, of course, and Charlotte Street delivers with big bold flavours. Private dining guests have a choice of ordering from one of two seasonal tasting menus at different price points. Both are generous and include a wide selection of Roka favourites across all sections of the menu. The standard seasonal tasting menu includes salads like the signature spinach in sesame dressing, as well as sashimi platters, maki rolls, gyoza dumplings and mains like spicy beef skewers with padron peppers and cedar roast baby chicken with chilli and lemon. There’s also a premium tasting menu that includes a few more luxurious dishes, including the much-loved marinated black cod in yuzu miso.
Whichever you choose, you’re guaranteed a lux experience at Roka, and the extensive drinks menu and generous service make this a reliable go-to option for private dining.
