Gilgamesh, a pan-Asian restaurant and cocktail bar, can be found in the heart of Covent Garden. Inspired by the legends of Gilgamesh and ancient Mesopotamia, Gilgamesh promises nothing short of a culinary adventure, perfect for a private dining occasion with plenty of wow-factor.
While the venue itself can seat up to 200 people, there are also two private dining rooms available. Upstairs, you’ll find Zion, an exotic dining room which can hold up to 70 people. Downstairs, you’ll find Babylon, which promises opulence and late night music, and can hold up to 100 people.
The seasonal menu boasts a delicious fusion of Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine, and the space itself is spectacular. The dramatic combination of modern design mixed with historically inspired elements immediately grabs your attention. The restaurant is also covered with rich greenery, which is a nod to the Hanging Gardens.
Gilgamesh offers three set menus which are perfect for group dining, especially when you want to try a bit of everything. Meat eaters will get to try everything from crispy, salt n pepper squid and salmon and avocado sushi rolls, to crispy duck salad and ox cheek stew served with steamed jasmine rice and Asian greens.
If you’re looking for an even more indulgent feast, the Babylonian Banquet comes with everything from a Wagyu taco with pineapple salsa and a selection of dim sum to miso Chilean sea bass and green chicken curry.
For vegetarians and vegans, there’s an equally delicious selection to choose from, be it vegetable spring rolls and crispy kale salad to green curry with lychee and vegetables.
For pudding, guests are treated to a chef’s dessert selection, which includes vegan, dairy and gluten free options available upon request.
