Where better to host a party than the heart of the city, Covent Garden? Bordering Soho, Chinatown and even Green Park, it's one of London's most iconic postcodes. And, while there are lots of options for private dining, Brother Marcus' newest opening definitely deserves your attention.
You've no doubt heard of Brother Marcus already; the cosy, brunch spot which first started in Angel almost a decade ago and quickly earned a reputation for brilliant, fresh-tasting food, lovely decor and a friendly atmosphere. After all, the eatery was named after one of the founder's brothers, thanks to his ability to make anyone feel like a friend within minutes of knowing them.
As for space, this medium-sized restaurant boasts a harmonious blend of pinks and terracottas, for an on-trend and yet timeless look. Features to note include textured, limewash-style walls, floor-to-ceiling doors which fill the space with light, and plenty of plants which really bring the room to life.
At the Covent Garden site you can book a large table of up to 30 people within normal hours, dining alongside other customers and soaking up the vibe of the restaurant. If you're interested in a private dining option, exclusive use offers capacity for up to 150 people seated, or 200 people standing. Just get in touch with the team to find out more.
On the menu you'll find a mix of all-day dining mezze dishes which work really well for sharing with a large group. Start with some smaller, vegetarian plates like crispy aubergine skewers with shatta herb sauce, alongside charred celeriac with turmeric, lemon and dill aioli, as well as pan-fried halloumi with prune and clementine reduction. While, larger plates look like grilled pork rib-eye or roasted chicken served with sun-dried tomato harissa and fresh herb salad, for a bit more bite.
