If you were to picture a quintessentially British pub on the streets of London, then it would probably look a little something like Clarette. The front of the building has been finished in a mock Tudor style townhouse, with black and white colouring and grand stained glass windows. Inside you’ll find something much more contemporary, colourful and chic, with blue walls, pink chairs and accents of gold throughout.
There’s ample space for both smaller and larger events, whether you’re looking to host an intimate dinner party with friends or celebrate a milestone anniversary with everyone you know. The Salon Prive room may be your first clue as to how seriously the team here takes wine. Along one side of this elegant dining room is a wine rack that sets the standards for all other wine racks across the country - spread across one wall, it showcases a floor to ceiling selection of wine that has been carefully chosen by the wine team. The room itself can hold up to 18 people seated and 25 standing, so comes as the venue's most intimate option.
In the Dining Room, plush sofas and tables line the room, and to the back you can find a small pink cove with brightly painted walls, pastel pink chairs and three tables for additional space. This option provides a little more space, and has a capacity for 30 seated and 45 standing.
Alternatively, the entire venue can be hired to make the most of both rooms and have the bar to yourself, making it perfect for larger events - with a capacity for up to 100 guests both seated and standing.
To eat, you can expect classic dishes produced with seasonal ingredients, with an a la carte option available for smaller groups, and parties of eight and over having the option of the party menu and sharer menu.
