Private dining offers the unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself and your group in a celebratory atmosphere with every last detail in the hands of skilled chefs. Dinner parties, while great, can never compare - especially if the private dining room in question is set within the walls of Carmel Fitzrovia. An Eastern Mediterranean restaurant just minutes from Oxford Circus, private dinners in Carmel Fitzrovia’s Green Room are a sleek and exclusive experience.
Bathed in natural light, surrounded by greenery, and sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant by concertina doors it’s a warm and inviting space with a modern edge. The blend of urban chic design and tranquil accents makes the Green Room a versatile space for celebration dinners and milestone birthdays to corporate meetings. Fitted with round tables, and banquette seating for up to 30 guests, the Carmel private dining room also happens to come with its own bar - so you can guarantee your party will be first in the queue.
Carmel Fitzrovia’s private dining set menus offer the full eastern Mediterranean experience with mezze platters of olives, stracciatella with olive tapenades, butterbean hummus, and blackened aubergines. But what Carmel is known for is their tabun oven flatbreads, which found fame at their first site Carmel Queen’s Park. Here they are served with za’atar, tahini and fermented chilli. Elsewhere, items include grilled hispi cabbage with labneh and macadamia dukkah, sirloin with miso chilli butter, and sea bream grilled with Calabrian chilli honey. To finish, expect the likes of a chocolate and Turkish coffee tart with an almond crumb. Plus, there's always the option to request a bespoke menu.
Of course, no dinner at Carmel is complete without inspired aperitifs and a brilliant wine selection curated by co-founder and wine buyer Mattia Bianchi to include some of the best low-intervention producers from across the world.
