28-50 Chelsea is a wine workshop and sophisticated restaurant in the heart of Chelsea, serving modern European cuisine and an impressive selection of wines. The space is characterised by displays of rustic wine crates, cool, industrial lighting and a central,brasserie-style bar with pale pink seats for a splash of colour. 

If organising a birthday party, hosting a work client or perhaps just an overdue catch up with friends, 28-50 Chelsea has some great options when it comes to private dining. If looking to book a large table in the main restaurant, the team are more than happy to accommodate you, simply give them a call about the number of people you'd like to host. 

Or, if you're envisioning something a little more private, take a look at The Oak Room which leads off from the main space. This atmospheric nook boasts oak wood panelled walls for a distinguished feel, rich, velvet seating in a dark purple hue and marble tables. There is capacity for 30 people seated or 40 standing, with access to the courtyard also. This offers an extra space to enjoy drinks and is a perfect sun trap in the summer time. Alternatively, if you're looking to throw a really big bash, speak to the team about taking over the whole restaurant. With the space all yours, up to 100 guests can join you and it's bound to make an impact.

Private dining events can choose from either the set menu or the sharing style dishes. The set menu offers a starter, main and dessert for each person with examples like charred salmon belly with celeriac remoulade and apple to begin, beef shortrib for mains and chocolate tartlet for afters. Or, go for a feasting feel with a large selection of canapes and a buffet, with dishes such as mini chorizo, potato and cheese croquettes, cheese selection and olives.

Head Chef

Lithuanian-bown head chef Rolandes Matulaitis oversees the menu at 28-50 Chelsea and brings his unique background to the pass. While his heritage might lie in Baltic Europe, the bulk of his experience has been forged in London. His CV boasts time at both The Ivy and Soho House, roles which he quickly progressed through to become head chef of the latter after a very brief stint further down the ranks. He loves to forage and is always keen to work on sustainability practices with the team at 28-50, looking to fuse flavours from around the world in his own signature take on classic cookery.

Originally from the UK, she moved to Spain at a young age, where she became fluent in Spanish and worked in restaurants across the country.
