The Doyle Collection property’s three-year refurbishment programme completes with the opening of The Coral Room
The Martin Brudnizki-designed Coral Room was the setting for
the Grade II-listed hotel’s relaunch party last week. The great and the good were given the chance to check out its new spaces, which span all the public areas, rooms and suites.
Brudnizki’s trademark lacquer-finish wall paint (have you seen the sage-green shine at
The Wigmore yet?) combines with the room’s deco fixtures to reflect the glamour of its 1920s origins.
While the listed space can’t be hired exclusively for events, groups of 10 can book in for stylish drinks dos.
However, the attractive
Dalloway Terrace next door is available for private dinners and parties. The covered and heated (if needs be) space will seat up to 30 people or you can host standing receptions for 45.
The hotel also has a whole host of event spaces for meetings, conferences and parties with space for around 300 seated delegates in its headline George V Hall.
