London CRU is the UK’s first urban winery, based in an old Victorian warehouse - once a gin distillery - down a quiet alleyway near Earl’s Court. Inside you’ll find a state-of-the-art winery - London CRU wines have scooped many awards over the years - but this historic site also doubles as a unique private event venue, available for all sorts of private and corporate events from exhibitions, meetings and conferences to parties and drinks receptions.
There are two distinct spaces available for hire within the winery. The larger space is the Tank Room - this industrial-chic space is where London CRU’s stainless steel maturation tanks live and where the wines are made. A thoroughly unique, black canvas space, the Tank Room can be set up for almost any sort of event, with capacity for up to 70 standing guests or 45 seated. There’s space for private dinners and banquets, as well as conferences, and London CRU also has a few handy facilities on hand - AV equipment, projector and screen, and a table tennis table, should you need them.
The Barrel Room is the second, more intimate space - London CRU’s wooden wine barrels form the centrepiece of this room, which also has a plasma screen, a piano, and an additional little breakout area. This space is more suited to cosy private drinks parties, dinners and small offsite meetings.
When it comes to catering, London CRU can lay on a bevy of cheese and meat platters, as well as canapes, bowl food or a full three-course banquet, with all dietaries catered for wherever possible. The team are also happy to host self-catered events. Naturally, drinks aren’t a problem!
London CRU also hosts lots of wine tasting events and winery tours, and the team can build bespoke packages to give guests a unique experience as part of a private event.
