London Cru holds the impressive title of London’s first urban winery, and it’s located slap bang in the middle of Fulham, perfect if you’re looking to host a private dinner in west London. You’ll find London Cru tucked away down an alleyway and located within an old Victorian warehouse - which was once home to a gin distillery.
The space was opened in 2013 by Cliff Roberson who has combined innovation and state of the art wine making facilities to launch a range of London wines. Many of these have gone on to win prestigious awards from WineGB and IWC awards, among other accolades such as being listed in several Michelin star restaurants - proving that a more contemporary approach to winemaking can be just as effective.
Whilst the key focus remains on wine, it also offers an impressive space for private dining, that can hold both large company events and more intimate affairs. The Tank Room is the larger of the two rooms, where you can sit amongst the stainless steel tanks that hold the wine, and is capable of hosting 45 guests for a seated dinner. Whilst this room gives off a more industrial edge, it can be adapted to suit the style of any occasion, and comes with an amazing sound system and various table formats.
Elsewhere, you’ll find The Barrel Room, perfect for something a bit more intimate for up to 14 seated. This space boasts a large bespoke table made from used wine barrels, which works as the centrepiece of the room. Both options come with a selection of catering options, whether you’re looking to keep it simple with artisanal charcuterie platters, a relaxed canape selection or a full three-course meal. The team is happy to cater to your needs and can cater towards various dietary requirements. An incredible wine list is also on offer (of course), with an events team on hand to help you create a memorable experience.
