The Other House is a new and exciting concept in the world of hospitality and members clubs. Across two sites in London, these stylish, long-stay apartments have the look and feel of a club, but without the fee. Less expensive than a hotel room and with all the self-catering facilities you need for more than a few nights stay, these spaces benefit from housekeeping, concierge and in-house meetings rooms, restaurants and bars.
The South Kensington branch is the perfect place to get on your radar if hosting an event anytime soon - whether it be a birthday, networking event or corporate meeting. Whether you're staying in the apartments or not, the events team are on hand to ensure that your soiree comes off without a hitch and help you choose the right space for your occasion.
Across the site, there are multiple space options, depending on your needs. For meetings or interviews, The Library has a capacity of 10 people and is based close to the lobby, ideal for meeting your guests. You can reserve the space for an hour or the whole day, and order food and drinks straight to you.
In a similar vein, The Francis Bacon and Mervyn Peake Rooms are two private dining rooms with an intimate feel and small capacity, with enough space for up to 10 people. Both rooms are hued in rich, jewel colours and feature beautifully curated artworks and furnishings. Whether it be a special meal or a client meeting, these spaces would work wonderfully.
For a much bigger soiree, there's the on-site cocktail bar, The Owl and Monkey. Here, you can host up to 120 people standing or 65 people seated. The decor is colourful and flamboyant with patterned wallpaper and bright seating, ideal for a party. Finally, there's The Other Kitchen, an open plan, relaxed dining space that serves lunch in the daytime and in the evening, is free for private events for up to 140 people.
