Bar Remo is a casual Italian bar and restaurant right in the centre of London, just minutes walk from Oxford Circus station, with a number of private areas available to hire for parties and celebrations.
Bar Remo is a long-standing central London stalwart, having been run by the Vignali family for the last 90 years. That family-run atmosphere and generous service has afforded it a strong following of regulars and fans who come for Bar Remo’s antipasti boards, picasso, pasta dishes and more.
Inside, this well-placed bar also has a number of areas available for private hire. Head downstairs and you’ll find Bar Remo’s basement, which comfortably sits 30 and can be hired individually for parties, small networking events and all sorts of small to medium-sized events. There’s also a middle area on the ground floor that is slightly larger, with capacity for up to 45 guests seated. Or, why not look into hiring both areas in conjunction? They make an ideal pair if you’re hosting an event for around 75 guests, and you can use one area as a standing reception if you choose.
When it comes to catering, groups of 16 and up can order from one of Bar Remo’s set menus, which include dishes such as a selection of antipasti, a selection of ‘Remo Misto’ fried snacks like suppli, Parmesan zucchini chips and calamari, as well as gnocchi with pesto, ricotta and spinach tortelloni, pizzas and more, as well as a glass of prosecco on arrival. Again, desserts bring a selection of traditional Italian desserts to get stuck into. Smaller groups are also welcome, and can order from Bar Remo’s extensive a la carte of pizza, pasta and traditional Italian dishes.
