When Market Halls first burst on London's foodie scene in 2018 with its first outpost in Victoria, it offered a new type of dining experience. A large, open space, crammed with diverse foodie offerings from pop-ups all over London, and a fun, community-spirited attitude. It became the place to get together with large groups of friends - which is exactly why it's such a good spot to throw a party.
Market Halls Oxford Street is located just a short walk from the tube station, making it a super accessible venue for your next event. The main space has a capacity of over 700 people and while this isn't usually hired, if you're planning an all-company extravaganza, you can certainly talk to the team about taking it over for a corporate shindig. It's here that you'll find street food kitchens like Gopals Corner, DF Tacos and Le Bab.
Market Halls Oxford Street boasts private dining areas, too, though, starting with The Cavendish. This style space riffs on the idea of a traditional English pub, with a central bar beautifully decorated in vintage-look star-covered tiles. The colour palette is dark and moody, but the space is flooded with natural light. Refered to as a 'private oasis' by the team, The Cavendish has a capacity of 50 people when seated, or 85 standing, and boasts TV screens, air conditioning and a DJ port making it an ideal place to host meetings or parties, or anything in between!
If going the whole hog with the entire venue is a bit much, but you'd still like to benefit from the buzz, take over just a corner of the floor with Cavendish Square Windows. This event zone has a capacity of 300 people and features a 360 degree square bar for you to use, as well as gorgeous views out onto Cavendish Square.
