About Stem+Stem

Can you think of a more romantic notion than Stem + Stem which brings together the elegant stem of a wine glass, together with the botanical stems of flowers, into one venue? This lovely concept finds its home in St Paul's, right in the heart of London and co founded by Ed Boarland and Dee Reid. 

The space is sophisticated and atmospheric boasting high ceilings and lots of light, alongside beautiful mid-century inspired seating and modern light fixtures. The team love welcoming group bookings and for Christmas, they've touted themselves as the perfect place to hold your office festive shindig - and we're inclined to agree!

As for the food, expect produce from local suppliers and partnerships with sustainable farmers from across the UK. Stem + Stem believes in an ever-changing, seasonal menu that champions the best of British, so you can be sure that whatever is on offer, it'll be delicious.

For Christmas, group bookings can take over the main dining space with enough room for 35 people seated and 45 to 50 standing. While there isn't a hire fee, there is a minimum spend so be sure to check that all out with the team before you book. 

Stem + Stem has already released its Christmas menus which is super exciting, with starters like warm crispy pork jowl terrine with celeriac, apple and mustard salad, alongside mains of stuffed caldecotte turkey thigh with squash, black cabbage, chestnuts and turkey gravy, finished with desserts like a chocolate yule log with autumn fruit jam to share between the table. 

There is a selection of Christmas packages available including arrival drinks, canapes, a three course meal, a wine pairing and even a botanical Christmas present. Or, you could treat your guests to a floral Christmas workshop to introduce an interactive feel to the event.

Dee Reid

Owner and Florist

Over the course of the last decade, Dee Reid has transformed her love for forestry into a thriving career. After 15 years in buying departments of iconic fashion brands, she trained at renowned establishments including McQueens and the Flower Appreciation Society. Opened in 2023, Stem+Stem showcases her signature floral arrangements and natural style, following an ‘As it Grows’ philosophy - sourcing from British producers wherever possible.

Ed Boarland

Executive Chef and Owner

With 15 years of training under Michelin-starred chefs, Ed Boarland’s menus demonstrate classic techniques that put seasonal British flavours and ingredients in pride of place. Starting in a commis role at The Roux Family’s Waterside Inn, he progressed as sous chef of Gordon Ramsay’s Trianon Palace Restaurant in Versaille working under Simone Zanoni. After taking on a head chef role at Cabotte in London, he co-founded Stem+Stem.
