Los Mochis is a pan-Asian restaurant in the centre of Notting Hill, seamlessly combining rustic Mexican cuisine and décor with Japanese elegance and precision. The interiors are airy and eccentric, featuring minimalist Japanese décor alongside unusual artwork hung on exposed brick walls. It's a unique and special backdrop for a festive bash with a twist.
This immersive venue benefits from a variety of spaces suitable for everything from seasonal company drinks to a less traditional sit-down Christmas meal with friends and family. During the planning of your festive event, the in-house events team are on hand to assist, taking care of everything from catering to music to arranging seasonal decorations.
If you’re after a space for a large Christmas party, such as a company do, exclusive hire of Los Mochis will allow up to 175 guests spread across its four distinct spaces. For smaller events, or for a grand festive dinner, there are two dining rooms available for hire across two floors, each seating 50 to 60 guests or up to 65 standing. The ground floor dining room is a light and airy space featuring wooden beams adorned with ivy, while the first-floor dining area is more secluded and often hired in conjunction with the adjoining bar and lounge areas to make a reception space. For more casual events with fewer guests, the bar and lounge spaces are ideal, each hosting up to 25 standing, ideal for informal Christmas drinks and nibbles.
For a sit-down meal, there are specially curated set menus which are designed to be shared, and showcase Los Mochis’ signature and most popular dishes such as tacos, ceviche and tiraditos. There are also ‘para picar’ small plates like Ajo-chipotle edamame, guacamole shrimp and fresh maki rolls, perfect to pair with one of the agave-based cocktails. Dietary requirements are no problem as all dishes are celery, nut and gluten free with minimal dairy used.
