Bleeding Heart has one of the broadest ranges of venues for a Christmas party in the City of London. Whether you are a group of 18 in the Parlour, 50 in No 1 Dining Room or 124 in The Crypt, they have you covered.
If you're looking for an atmospheric private dining room, complete with warm hospitality and impeccable service, the Bleeding Heart is just the place. For over 30 years, the private dining spaces located within London's historic, cobble-stoned Bleeding Heart Yard have been a most popular staging post for Christmas parties.
The three-course private dining Christmas menu means starters like tartare of Loch Duart Salmon with black sesame, avocado and potato blinis and a sweet citrus sauce or carpaccio of smoked duck with honey-roasted figs and aged sherry vinaigrette. Mains include crisp-skinned sea bass, on ratatouille provencale, with sautéed spinach and saffron beurre blanc or roast rump of Swaledale lamb, roasted root vegetables, fondant potato and rooftop rosemary jus (see full menu). To finish there’s chocolate mousse with hazelnut praline or apple tart with a spiced crumble and cinnamon ice-cream or Christmas pudding with crème anglaise.
Or take it up a notch with a five-course feast that includes coffee, mini mince pies, chocolates and Christmas crackers. The Bleeding Heart’s award-winning wine list boasts 450 different bottles, which means something for everyone and every pocket.
From mid November the large outdoor terrace comes equipped with a fully heated and candlelit Christmas cabana, complete with trees and fairy lights, and the charming Wine Cellar and Parlour are both available for stylish Christmas parties including receptions or dinners from 10 to 30 people. And, as if the choice isn’t enough already, there is also the wonderful medieval crypt, complete with heated, aperitif-friendly Cloister Garden, for a very atmospheric Christmas party.
