Looking for somewhere special to impress your colleagues for this year's Christmas bash? Whether you work in Chelsea, Central or even Greater London, the Beaverbrook Townhouse is worth travelling to, as one of West London's swankiest places to eat, drink and sleep.
A follow up opening to the wildly successful Beaverbrook Hotel and Estate in the Surrey Hills, the Beaverbrook Townhouse reimagines Lord Beaverbrook's London pad and is filled with Victorian curiosities and artworks that reflect his eclectic tastes and hedonistic lifestyle. Esteemed interior designer Nicola Harding created the scheme, which blends rich colours, bold patterns and plenty of luxury.
On the ground floor, guests and diners of the hotel will find a small lobby, followed by the sleek Fuji Grill Bar which offers authentic Japanese Omakase dining, with some of the best sushi in London. Here, the space feels atmospheric and perfectly suited to a Christmas meal with colleagues, with both smaller tables, large, central tables and booth seating.
Or, if you'd prefer your own space, take a peek at the private dining room which has gleaming, lacquered walls, antique-style mirrors and a beautiful, butterfly-themed art display. Situated at the back of the hotel, the private dining room leads out to a private garden, too. With capacity for 16 people, it's ideal for a small to medium-sized group.
As for food, we're sure your guests will appreciate such a high-quality menu which boasts starters and small plates like mushroom harumaki with truffle ponzu, alongside popcorn shrimp with spicy mayo and raw dishes like seared salmon carpaccio.
For mains, choose between vegetables, from the sea or charcoal grilled meats with dishes like organic baby chicken, or Alaskan black cod with Den Miso and Yuzu Mi. Of course, you could really go for it and order the Omakase experience which features nine, delicious courses.
