The restaurant offers two dynamic private dining spaces, with each one providing an elegant backdrop to celebrate a social occasion or give clients the perfect impression.
The purpose-built Curio Room is a bright space flooded with natural light, seating up to 16 guests for a private lunch or dinner or 30 guests for a drinks reception. Attached to The Curio Room is The Curio Lounge, a slightly smaller, versatile room that would work well as a break-out space for meetings or to begin your evening with a pre-dinner drink. The Wine Room is a semi-private room offering an intimate space separate from the restaurant floor, yet close enough to still enjoy the restaurant’s buzzing atmosphere. Glass-fronted displays showcase an extensive collection of red, white and sparkling wines, while art-deco booth seats and emerald green walls add to the retro feel of the room, which seats up to 22 guests.
On the menu, you'll find a range of festive delights to choose from. Vegetarians might start with a Jerusalem artichoke veloute, while those who prefer seafood can opt for a gin and beetroot-cured salmon with lime sorbet. At the meatier end of the scale meanwhile, you'll find a Cornish game terrine, paired with pickled blackberries, walnuts and sourdough.
Taking centre stage on the main course roster is turkey, here accompanied by thyme-roasted potatoes, braised red cabbage, parsnips, turkey jus and cranberry. Alternatives to turkey include roast Cornish monkfish, beef tournedos rossini or roasted pumpkin with chestnut and pearl barley risotto. Finish off with a classic Christmas pudding, sticky toffee pudding or dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream.
